Rizky Octavianus is the Founder and CEO of Machipot Cosplay Indonesia, a company at the forefront of the nation's cosplay industry. Through their intellectual property, the Indonesia Cosplay League, Machipot has established a national level competition with more than 10 cities participants. This initiative has been instrumental in showcasing Indonesian talent on the global stage, with participants successfully competing in prestigious international events such as the Gyeonggi International Cosplay Festival (South Korea), the Best All-Star Cosplay Competition Thailand Game Show (Thailand), and the Asia Cosplay Meet & Singapore Comic Con Cosplay Competition (Singapore).
Since 2006, Machipot has demonstrated a consistent record of national and international achievements. A notable highlight is the Grand Champion title at the Cosplay de Umigomi Zero Awards 2020, a competition featuring participants from 23 countries. This victory was earned by leading a successful environmental initiative where cosplayers cleaned up plastic waste on Jakarta¡¯s main streets and exchanged plastic bags for recycled alternatives during public events like Car-Free Day.
Machipot Cosplay Indonesia continues to support the growth of the local cosplay ecosystem by collaborating with government, agencies, and brands. These partnerships are designed to increase public acceptance of cosplay, transforming it from a niche form of entertainment into a viable and profitable industry. Additionally, through a partnership with the Fanmate platform, create seamless fan engagement and monetizes content for cosplayers, streamlining transactions and content distribution.
